Welcome, and thank you for considering a day on the water with me here along Florida’s Panhandle coast. These waters are home to some of the most diverse and exciting inshore fishing in the Gulf, and my goal is to give you a relaxed, professional, and truly memorable experience every time you step on the boat.
Whether we’re stalking redfish across shallow grass flats, sight-casting to tarpon along the beaches, or working productive structure for trout, tripletail, and pompano, each trip is tailored to the conditions, the season, and your personal fishing goals. I enjoy guiding anglers of all experience levels—from first-time saltwater fishermen to dedicated fly anglers looking to refine their skills.
You can expect a patient, instructional approach if you want to learn, or a laid-back day focused purely on fishing and enjoying the water if you prefer. I provide quality light tackle and fly equipment, local knowledge built from years on these fisheries, and a strong focus on safety, conservation, and respect for the resource.
More than anything, I want you to leave the boat with great memories, new skills, and a deeper appreciation for the incredible fishery we’re fortunate to have here in the Florida Panhandle.
I look forward to fishing with you.

Capt. Jeremy Baxley
I was born and raised in Wewahitchka, Florida, and moved to Port St. Joe when I was about nine years old. Growing up, I was reeling in catfish and bream before I could ride a bike, and that early love of freshwater fishing naturally evolved into a passion for saltwater angling once we moved closer to the coast. I spent my younger years wade fishing the flats of St. Joe Bay, and by the time I was 12, I had my first skiff and was chasing reds and trout every chance I got. I didn’t pick up a fly rod until after college, but once I jumped my first tarpon on the fly, I was hooked.
After college, life led me into a career in real estate appraisal, where I spent 14 years. Along the way, I married my amazing wife, Kelly, and we now have two boys, Bennett and Beau, who love being on the boat themselves.
Being a fishing guide was always the dream, and I am proud to offer guided fly trips across Gulf, Bay, and Franklin counties. With 27 years of local fishing experience, I bring a deep knowledge of these waters and a true passion for helping others enjoy them the way I have for my whole life. Things have gotten away from how they were when I was coming up, and I want to bring some of that back to fishing—back to when it was about simplicity, patience, and a real connection to the water. That’s the kind of experience I aim to give every client who steps on my skiff.
I am USCG licensed and insured and specialize in fly fishing for tarpon in May, June, July, and early August. I offer redfish on fly throughout the year. I offer redfish trips on fly out of Hopedale, Louisiana for the months of October-December.
